

Dr. Stephen J. Nicholas is a nationally recognized authority in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery who advises InSyght on the clinical design of our performance wearables protocols. His role centers on ensuring that the continuous physiological and movement data captured by wearable devices translates into scientifically sound, athlete-tested guidance for performance optimization, injury prevention, and recovery.
As founder and director of the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma (NISMAT), the first hospital-based sports medicine research facility in the country, Dr. Nicholas has spent decades studying the biomechanics of athletic movement and load management, the same principles that underpin modern wearable metrics such as strain, recovery, and readiness. His firsthand experience as orthopedic team physician for the New York Jets, the New York Islanders, and the athletes of Hofstra University gives him direct insight into how these protocols perform at the highest levels of competition and how they can be adapted for everyday members pursuing their own performance goals.
Dr. Nicholas guides our clinical team on translating wearable outputs into actionable protocols, validating thresholds against real-world athletic data, and grounding our recovery and training recommendations in orthopedic and sports medicine evidence. A graduate of Harvard University, he earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, completed a residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery and a sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He serves as Chief of Sports Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and has been repeatedly named one of New York's Best Doctors by New York Magazine.

Dr. Rishi Panchal is a board-certified cardiovascular physician and advanced peripheral vascular specialist who advises InSyght on the cardiovascular dimension of our biomarker interpretation and longevity protocols. His role centers on grounding our cardiac risk assessment, lipid and inflammatory marker interpretation, and vascular health recommendations in current cardiology evidence and clinical best practice.
Dr. Panchal completed his fellowship training in peripheral vascular medicine at Yale School of Medicine, one of only a handful of programs in the nation offering this level of specialized training, following a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Henry Ford Health System. He currently serves as Chief of Medicine at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital and directs its Limb Preservation Program. His clinical focus spans coronary artery disease, heart failure, and the management of peripheral arterial and venous disorders using minimally invasive techniques, expertise that directly informs how our protocols translate cardiovascular biomarkers into meaningful, preventive guidance for members.
A contributor to medical textbooks and national research trials at Yale, Dr. Panchal publishes and presents at national cardiovascular conferences. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Florida. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, internal medicine, and vascular interpretation.

Dr. Maria Gutierrez Horn is a board-certified endocrinologist and certified functional medicine practitioner who advises InSyght on the endocrine and metabolic foundations of our biomarker interpretation and longevity protocols. Her role centers on ensuring that our hormone, thyroid, adrenal, and metabolic marker interpretation reflects both rigorous endocrinology and a root-cause, optimization-focused philosophy, the same "optimal, not just normal" approach that defines our platform.
With more than two decades of clinical practice in Palm Beach County, Dr. Gutierrez Horn brings deep expertise across male and female hormone health, thyroid and adrenal function, and metabolic conditions including diabetes, dyslipidemia, and obesity. After 25 years in traditional endocrinology, she completed advanced training through the Institute for Functional Medicine, allowing her to pair precision endocrinology with a personalized, preventive model of care. Her command of hormones, genetics, the gut and oral microbiomes, nutrition, and supplementation directly informs how our protocols translate complex endocrine data into safe, actionable guidance for members.
Dr. Gutierrez Horn earned her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, where she graduated Valedictorian, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, and a certified provider of the PreCODE and ReCODE cognitive health protocols. She is also fluent in English and Spanish.
